Presented on the giant Bristol Megascreen, this one-off celebration revisits the film that pushed boundaries, shocked censors and became a cult classic for its fearless take on morality, religion and freedom of speech, all set to an unforgettable, Oscar-nominated musical soundtrack.
Panel: Before the screening, a 20-minute panel discussion chaired by Robin Ince (The Infinite Monkey Cage) explored the topics of satire, blasphemy and free speech. Special guests (TBA) will sit alongside Shazia Mirza, acclaimed stand-up and writer known for her bold, thought-provoking comedy tackling faith, feminism and cultural taboos.
