Slapstick Festival 2023: Call for Volunteers
Bristol’s annual Slapstick festival returns with its 19th edition from 14 to 19 February and we are seeking volunteers who’d like to help us present our latest line-up of unique events celebrating silent & classic screen comedy.
This year we’ll be using four venues: Bristol Old Vic, the ex-IMAX cinema at Bristol Aquarium, St George’s and Watershed, all in Bristol city centre and all offering a variety of volunteer roles, including selling merchandise, taking care of displays, managing guest tickets, general stewarding, handling mics during Q&As, backstage support and more.
In return, volunteers gain
- first hand insight into the running of one of Bristol’s best-loved festivals.
- a useful new addition to CVs.
- the chance to become part of a friendly team and meet those with a shared passion for film and comedy
- pride at playing a vital part in giving audiences a happy, memorable time and making sure Slapstick 2023 is a success.
Volunteers also receive a free souvenir T-shirt
