Slapstick Festival 2027

Planning is already well underway for Slapstick Festival 2027, which returns to Bristol from 10–14 February with another magnificent five-day celebration of screen comedy across five venues.

It’s a little too early to reveal the programme, but I promise it’ll be worth the wait. We’ll begin lifting the curtain in September, when we’ll announce our first events and give you a taste of what’s in store.

Before then, though, we have plenty to look forward to. Our autumn fundraiser stand-up for Slapstick and our spectacular Silent Comedy Gala anre both important milestones on the road to February’s programme and we’re hopeful there may be a few more surprises along the way.

So, watch this space. Thank you, as always, for your wonderful support. I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on, and I hope to see you at an event very soon.Slapstick 2026 brings more than 30 events across five joy-filled days in Bristol, celebrating screen comedy in all its forms: from silent-era masterpieces to classic sitcoms, anarchic stand-ups and big-screen favourites.
