‘Slapstick Ale’ Now Available at your Local Dawkins Pub:
With the help of Glen Dawkins and friends at Dawkins Brewery, Slapstick Festival is pleased to announce the specially brewed ‘Slapstick Ale’ new to 2010!  This dark ale will give us the warm kick which we all need with all this hardcore winter weather at the moment.

For all you connoisseurs out there, here are the tasting notes:
Dawkins Slapstick Ale:
5.0%abv: A Strong Bitter with a difference: Brewed with mild ale malt to produce a darker and more full-bodied ale. It is rich with robust flavours of ripe fruits, caramel and roast malt that give way to a long, dry and well-rounded bitter finish. The aroma is a tempting mix of chocolate and blackcurrant notes provided by the combination of roast malt and English hops.

Slapstick Ale (Brewed in Black & White) will be on sale from Saturday 16th January (just in time for Slapstick the following week) and available from the following four Dawkins Pubs:

The Victoria: 2 Southleigh Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 2BH. 0117 9745675
The Hillgrove: 53 Hillgrove Street North, off Dove Street, Kingsdown, Bristol BS2 8LT. 0117 9249818
